Rev. Doreen O’Connor, PhD(c) received her Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Connecticut and a Juris Doctorate from University of Connecticut School of Law. Prior to obtaining her Master’s Degree in Ecclesial Leadership from Eastern University, she practiced civil law in New England where she counseled clients on organizational structure. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Ecclesial Leadership at Regent University.
Dr. Rudy Ramphal was born in Guyana, South America and moved to Brunswick County, NC at the age of 13. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Methodist College. He received a Master’s in Pastoral Theology from Cardiff University in Wales, UK and a Master’s of Divinity from Campbell University Divinity School. Dr. Ramphal earned his Doctorate in Ministry from Campbell University May 2016. Prior to installation as Senior Pastor, he served Brunswick Islands Baptist Church as Youth Minister beginning in 2009.
